Farm to brand

A farm can be described through land, buildings, animals and equipment. That description is accurate and incomplete. A real business also needs customers, cash discipline, logistics, people, routines and a promise the market can understand.

Konju Mõisa Talu made this clear. Production was the foundation, but the business also required communication, product presentation, distribution and direct customer contact.

Production is only one part of the system

Agriculture is unforgiving because the work cannot be detached from time, biology, weather and operational discipline. It teaches patience, but also speed in the right places: handovers, sales, cash control and customer response.

That is the useful lesson outside agriculture as well. A company is not a collection of departments. It is one system experienced by the customer and paid for through the numbers.
